Professional Development Deadlines Announced

Requests for the next round for Professional Development (PD) funding are due on November 3 at 4:00 PM. Applications must be at CUPEU's office (2130 Bishop; MI-202) by this time to be considered.
This is the second of three rounds for the 2009-2010 fiscal year and is restricted to activities and purchases that will take place on or before March 31, 2010. The third and final deadline for PD requests will be March 1, 2010 and will cover requests for March, April, May, June and up to July 31, 2010.
This year the maximum amount per request has been increased to $3,800.00. If you are a permanent employee in good standing you may receive a maximum of one PD award per budget year.
